First time out of the package they seemed a little thin but when I used them they were just awesome. They seemed to even the heat, no grease or juices dropped into the grill or onto the grate and after grilling I just left them to cool while the fat and juices “gelled” then wiped them off into the garbage and put them back on the grill for the next time. At the end of the vacation I simply washed them off before packing them.
